The Museum of Supposedly Valueless Things is an installation, currently postponed, on themes of disposability and impending ecological disaster. Needlessly discarded found objects, collected by the artist around Brooklyn, will be placed in museum-style glass vitrines and annotated with fictive exhibition notes.  These texts will be written from the perspective of a future museum curator who cannot comprehend our own society’s wasteful ways; the curator’s interpretations of discarded objects, their functions, and the reasons behind their disposal will sometimes be humorously off base, at other times chillingly insightful.
